Terms of Service for Dartly

Welcome to Dartly. By accessing or using our web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Dartly is owned and operated by Jason Nakamura in Ontario, Canada. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Dartly is a dart-scoring and statistics platform. The service is currently in active development ("Beta"). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

3. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Intellectual Property

The "Dartly" name, logos, UI design, and original source code are the intellectual property of Jason Nakamura. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the application without express written permission.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Dartly for any illegal purposes or to:

  • Attempt to disrupt the service or circumvent security measures.
  • Scraping or automated data collection without permission.
  • Impersonate others or provide false information.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Dartly is provided "as is" and "as available." While we strive for 100% accuracy in scoring and 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted. Use of the app is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Ontario, Jason Nakamura shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of game data or "bragging rights") resulting from your use of the service.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Region of Waterloo or Toronto, Ontario.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as Dartly grows. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new terms on this page.
